Jerusalem Hug Second Time Around: June 24, 2008

Jerusalem Hug

When I wrote about last year’s Jerusalem Hug and posted a video about about it, little did I expect the Hug organizers to approach me about making a video promo for tomorrow’s upcoming Hug.

What an honor!

It was such an amazing experience last year that I was excited about having an opportunity to spread the word out to more people. I even volunteered to open a MySpace page for the Hug… (Add us as a friend!!)

So, yes, this amazing event will take place tomorrow, June 24, in Jerusalem. Join thousands of Jews, Muslems, Christians.. (wait, f*ck labels).. PEOPLE.. as we hold hands around the Old City.

It is an event you will never forget, that I can guarantee.

As for the video promo I made, check it out below and let me know what you think:

60 Years Since Gandhi’s Death and Where Are We Today?

Ghandi, Love, Peace, Compassion: Can you picture our world the way it has the potential of being?January 30th marks the 60th anniversary of the assassination of one the most influential heroes in human history.

One of Gandhi’s most famous quotes is “be the change you want to see in the world”.

Because Ghandi knew that the only way to make a true difference in this world is first by changing yourself. He understood that every thought we have and every action we take instantly affects others; whether its the people closest to us or a random person on the other side of the planet (aka the Butterfly Effect). He knew and understood that we are part of ONE collective consciousness.

So as the 60 year anniversary of this great man stands before us, let us think about this list of people we are influencing. Is our life showing them the change we want to see in the world? Will their lives reflect the lessons they learned from watching us?

If not, that is ok. Because it’s not too late.

You and I can start today. Right now. This second.

And may peace, love and compassion prevail on planet Earth.

Carnival of Inspiration and Motivation (Third Edition)

December 15th, 2007 | No Comments | Posted in Good News, Spreading The Love

One of my posts, Dance Like Nobody Is Watching, was selected for the blog Carnival of Inspiration and Motivation.

This is my first time participating in such a carnival and from what I understand, it can be a very helpful tool to reach more readers and attract more traffic to my blog so I’m pretty excited.

Apparently the carnival was extremely successful and drew in about 110 posts. It just goes to show you how many bloggers out there are changing the world one post at a time!

So clear a few hours from your busy busy life, check out the participating blogs and get ready to be inspired!

Collectively Changing the World One Post at a Time

Click here to view ChangePerPost.comI’ve been planning on doing something like this for a while, and finally - here it is!

Introducing the launch of a new site I started for bloggers and their readers called ChangePerPost.com.

What it’s about:

ChangePerPost gathers recent blog posts from bloggers around the world on topics that encourage personal, social, spiritual, environmental and global change - and offers a place where we can all spread our messages collectively.

Here’s the deal:

Millions of boggers out there are writing posts every day about important issues that affect our life, our planet and humanity itself.

I recently noticed many bloggers, including myself, who claim they are trying to make a difference in this world “one post at a time”, and yet they often wonder “how much of a difference can one blogger really make?”

Well the truth is that every blogger out there is making a difference, whether to an audience of thousands or to one random stranger who just happens to come upon their post just as he or she needs to hear it most.

This new website was born out of 3 main purposes for both bloggers and their readers:

  • To help readers discover new and inspirational blogs out there and help them to get an overall view of all the latest published blog posts from around the world.
  • To offer a place where bloggers can promote their blogs and posts in an environment more fit for these types of subjects and to help attract more traffic to their blogs.
  • To open our eyes and raise our awareness to new ideas and information which have the power to change our lives and our world as we know it. In other words: To raise our global awareness and consciousness one post at a time.

Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something. And that, after all, is where the real magic lies.

We are all in this together and together, we can make a difference.

Yoko Ono Lennon: Think Peace, Act Peace, Spread Peace (Video)

Published yesterday on ImaginePeace.com

December 8, 2007

I miss you, John. 27 years later, I still wish I could turn back the clock to the Summer of 1980. I remember everything - sharing our morning coffee, walking in the park together on a beautiful day, and seeing your hand stretched to mine - holding it, reassuring me that I shouldn’t worry about anything because our life was good.

I had no idea that life was about to teach me the toughest lesson of all. I learned the intense pain of losing a loved one suddenly, without warning, and without having the time for a final hug and the chance to say, “I love you,” for the last time. The pain and shock of that sudden loss is with me every moment of every day. When I touched John’s side of our bed on the night of December 8th, 1980, I realized that it was still warm. That moment has haunted me for the past 27 years - and will stay with me forever.

Even harder for me is watching what was taken away from our beautiful boy, Sean.
He lives in silent anger over not having his Dad, whom he loved so much, around to share his life with. I know we are not alone. Our pain is one shared by many other families who are suffering as the victims of senseless violence. This pain has to stop.

Let’s not waste the lives of those we have lost. Let’s, together, make the world a place of love and joy and not a place of fear and anger. This day of John’s passing has become more and more important for so many people around the world as the day to remember his message of Peace and Love and to do what each of us can to work on healing this planet we cherish.

Let’s: Think Peace, Act Peace, and Spread Peace. John worked for it all his life.
He said, “there’s no problem, only solutions.” Remember, we are all together.
We can do it, we must. I love you!

Yoko Ono Lennon

In honor of John Lennon and his important message to our world, please take a few minutes to view this video below.

The people in this video are YOU. They are a part of us and we are a part of them. We were fighting for our rights, we were inspired to make a change and we were passionate about doing what we could to spread the message of love.

If we could do it then, we could do it now…

And there has never been a more important time in human history to remember this.

“Think Peace, Act Peace, and Spread Peace.”

People of Israel: Remember Who You Are (Video)

Somewhere along the way we have forgotten who we really are and what it is that we really want.

I made this short video in hope of helping us all remember before it’s too late.

Before commenting, please keep in mind:

I am a Jew was born into the Jewish religion and I am Israeli. I am proud of certain things that this religion and country represent and yet, believe it or not, I am also aware of the fact that 1) We are not always right and 2) Others are not always wrong.

Having said that, while I respect everone’s opinion and will always allow freedom of speech on this blog, I will not tolerate comments that promote hate and/or racism.

All I ask is that we respect each other.

Thank you.

Living In My Own World… Or AM I?

Yesterday I received the following email from a new reader (welcome Gina!) and felt inspired to answer it here in case others out there have similar questions… Here goes:

Someone at work keeps telling me I’m living in my own world (?) I don’t get it, so i searched online and up came your site!  You have a beautiful soul.  Can you tell me what it means to live in our own world? is it good?

Also, about “the only message you’ll ever need“. That is so cool. How do you tell someone or give that message to people?

long live happiness.
gina

First of all, Gina, thanks for the kind words and thanks for reading!

For me, it’s like this:

In the beginning (of time) I would get frustrated because I felt like I didn’t fit in or that people didn’t understand me… As I wrote in my little introduction text on the sidebar, I always did what I felt was right (a typical Indigo) and yet somehow my thoughts, opinions and dreams of a better world, just didnt seem to please society around me… I was pretty young when I realized that I was alone in this; that me and the ‘real world’ were just not on the same page… and I have to admit: it was tough.

There’s one in every family…

Then, as the years went by, and I grew to know myself more, I slowly came to the conclusion that I liked myself for who I was and that I was sick and tired of trying to adjust myself to fit “inside the box.” I became proud of the fact that I was different and that my views on life were different. Because if following my heart meant that I was living in my own world, well then gosh darn it: SO BE IT!

Talk to the hand…

That was then.

What is happening now, however, (and this took me a while to comprehend) is that in the past 10 years or so, especially due to the age of Internet, I have been gradually awakening to the fact that maybe I’m not so alone in this after all!  So many people out there seem to be craving the same things as I, fighting for what they believe in, being the change that they want to see in the world and educating and inspiring others about it (through personal weblogs, sites like Zaadz, etc…).  So many more than I ever thought possible… I mean, you people are EVERYWHERE!

Power in numbers!

And thanks to all of you, I realize now that I am not alone. None of us are alone, because we are all in this together…

Yeah, including YOU...

Sorry, I didn’t mean to get all sentimental on you (ok, well maybe I did…)  So anyway, back to your other question:

…about “the only message you’ll ever need“. That is so cool. How do you tell someone or give that message to people?

Well first of all, I’m so glad you asked this, because it shows that you care. It shows that you have what it takes to make a difference in this world.  So how do you tell others that you see them as they really are? How do you spread that love, that healing?

It’s simple:

By first seeing yourself for Who You Really Are. Even when others do not. Especially when others do not.  Because to see this in yourself is to change the world.

(Thanks, Gina, for crossing my path…)

The Only Message You Ever Need to Send to Anyone

Last night I feel asleep with the following words echoing in my mind, taken from Tomorrow’s God: Our Greatest Spiritual Challenge by Neale Donald Walsh.  ’God’ discusses how when people are being anything other than the grander aspects of God and Life (meaning: Love, freedom, joy, peace, unity…), they have forgotten Who They Are in their grandest version. Our opportunity is to remind them:

You are all messengers, and you have only one message.

“I see you.”

That is the only message you will ever need.

“I see you. I see the real you. I know the real you. I love you. I love the real you.

“you cannot fool me. I know you and I know who you are. You can act in any way that you wish, but I will not change my mind about you. I know who you really are.

“I see you, and I will always see. You cannot disappear, you cannot hide, you cannot change or lose your identity. You cannot be something you are not. You can act as if you are something you are not, but you cannot be something you are not.

“I will always see what you are doing. I do not care what you are doing, because what you are doing is not who you are. I will always see you at the level of being.

“I see you. I see who you are. Nothing that you do can blind me to that.”

That is the only message you ever need to send to anyone. It will heal everything.

Dance Like Nobody is Watching

Last night I went for a walk with an Eckhart Tolle lecture sinking in through my mp3 (what can I say - I’m a groupie!!!)

I was approaching the Tel Aviv Port just as E.T. was in his motivational peak (for those familiar with Eckhart you know he’s not exactly a “motivational speaker” but that the real power lies in the peaceful simplicity of his words…)

Anyway, just as E.T. was encouraging me to “embrace the moment”, “be here Now“, “surrender to the present moment, no matter what form it may take”, “SURRENDER TO THE NOW”, his voice started drowning out to the sound of samba music coming from a large crowd of people standing along the port.

I then realized that what E.T. was really trying to say was “Oh, for god sake, take off the damn earphones, stop listening to me blabbing on about surrendering and embrace the present moment already!!!”

And so I did.

As I approached the crowd I realized that it was a huge samba party, with people of all ages line dancing to the beat of the samba drums, following the lead of some dance trainers who were demonstrating the moves.

As with any type of similar situation, there were the people who were actually participating (and I must say, having the time of their lives..) and then there was the rest of the on-lookers circling the event, safely smiling and clapping away as the others got their grooves on.

I was with the on-lookers (hey, I’m SHY!).

I was looking at the dancers, at how much fun they were having, and yet all I could hear was Eckharts words echoing in my ears: “SURRENDER!”

But I couldn’t.

The next couple of minutes consisted of a unique inner dialogue with myself (as a typical Gemini, I’ve gotten quite good at those) which consisted basically of this:

- Dance!

- No, I cant…

- But you want to!

- No, I’m shy…

- Just do it!

- But I don’t know the steps..

- No one here knows the steps.. they’re learning as they go!

- But what if someone I know will see me?

- So what?

- What if they notice that I’m here all alone?

- Who cares????

- Hey I know, I’ll come back next week with my husband.. It will probably be much more fun with him anyway… Yeah, that’s what I’ll do!

- You chicken.

Ok, you get the point.

But here’s where the real magic started:

All of a sudden I noticed a little girl and her mom who were standing nearby. The mom was trying to encourage the girl to dance and the girl kept shying away. Each time the mom would gently nudge her, the girl would consider it for a moment, and then finally she would shy away clinging on to her mommy’s leg.

At that moment, I INSTANTLY had a flashback to my childhood where unfortunately I had been in so many similar situations: people encouraging me to dance or play or participate or sing (I sooo wanted to do that) .. and almost every single time I would eventually shy away, disappointing the people around me, but most importantly - disappointing mySELF.

And then suddenly it hit me:

I’M NOT THAT LITTLE GIRL ANYMORE! I dont have to be that little girl anymore!! It is just my conditioned mind trying to take over… trying to convince me that this is something I wasn’t capable of doing.. that I was “too shy”. (Yes, those hours listening to Eckhart’s lectures were finally starting to pay off…)

As I was having this enlightenment, I noticed more and more people around me had started to join in the line dance. It was like a wave coming in and I knew that I could not stand in place any longer.. that if ever I wanted to prove something to myself I would need to do it NOW.

“JUST TAKE THE FIRST STEP”, that little voice inside me thundered over the music.

And so I did.

I took the first step and the next thing I know I was dancing to beat, shaking my booty along with the best of them…

And I was having FUN!

But that’s not the end of this story:

Just as I was starting to really enjoy myself, I suddenly noticed (now, get this…) the same little girl I had seen before, was now looking directly at me (out of all the other people in the crowd) and trying to copy my dance moves!!

I smiled to her and she smiled back this sweet, shy smile and before I knew it I was heading over to her (dancing as I went) and yelled to her “Come dance with me!” She giggled and shyed away, running back to her mom. And I continued dancing with the others till the end of the song.

When the song was over, I headed out of the crowd, but not before bumping into the little girl and her mother once again.

Before I could say a word, her mother gave me this huge smile and yelled “THANK YOU!” over the music (I guess she noticed me trying to get her daughter to dance…) I looked down at the little girl and told her “You know, you’re a really great dancer! I SAW you!”

The girl looked back at me with her big brown eyes amd beautiful smile and I could tell she was so pleased with herself when I said that.

Again, her mother thanked me and told me that I have a beautiful smile.

As I thanked her back I realized that I had just made a difference in that little girl’s life. That even though I was a perfect stranger, maybe I had succeeded in encouraging her to let go and feel good about herself.

Her mother looked at me like I was a human angel that appeared out of nowhere.

What her mother didn’t know was that all of this would have never been possible if it wasn’t for her little girl gently nudging ME on to face my fears.

Her daughter was MY angel.

And for that I shall be eternally grateful.

How to Find Your Passion and Make It Your Career

By Nicholas Powell

Some people come across difficulties in finding their passion and many more have trouble living their passion as a career. Let us start by defining passion so we can lay a foundation. The way I define the term passion is something in which I enjoy doing, something I can do all day long and continuously find joyfulness from it. Yet it is not the act of doing it that allows me to find joy in it because just thinking about it can produce feelings of joy.

Defining passion in this simplistic way opens up more then one passion for each person since individually everyone can name at least two things in which he or she enjoys doing to the extent of defining passion in this way. It can be something as simple as reading stories, meditating, helping people, playing an instrument, or art EST… It does not matter what it is as long as you define it as joyful even when thinking about it. Now the way to narrow the opinions down is to understand that passion is a moment-to-moment thing. In any given moment, one passion will always feel stronger then any other passion.

For example, one of my passions is writing articles that I feel will help millions of people, yet in some moments, I feel a stronger urge to go bowling, which is another passion of mine, or watch an empowering movie otherwise read an inspiring article. Every moment is different and every moment I feel the push to pursue something in the moment that excites me more then any other joy out of all the passions I can think of in any given moment. This is the true meaning of living in the moment and is important especially if you desire the universe (life or reality if you prefer) to support you in living your passion.

The Universe Always Supports
The first thing to understand about this infinite universe is that it always supports everybody in everything, no matter what and does so with unconditional support. What that means is the universe does not care if you make the conditions in your life hard on yourself or easy on yourself since the universe is neutral and does not know the difference. The universe will always give you exactly what you want in any moment as that is the design it was given. The only reason we do not get what we think we are choosing is because of the definitions or conditions we put on things. Let me explain things this way. Our bodies are set-up in such a biochemical way that we automatically move away from pain and towards pleasure. Now pain and pleasure is a very subjective point of view and certainly, the definitions (beliefs) you put on these things will determine your outcome. For example, if you are experiencing a lack of money you may feel that the universe, life, or reality is not supporting you but the way you define money is why you perceive yourself as not supported.

Most people have limiting beliefs that say one or many of the following (or similar things) about money:

  1. Money is the root of all evil.
  2. If I have abundance of money then others will lose out.
  3. You must work hard in order to earn good money.
  4. I cannot earn money doing what I love.

If you have even one of the limiting beliefs above then of course you are going to have a lack of money. The universe is supporting you on your definition (belief) about money. If you change the definition (belief) about money then you change the outcome of your life. I wrote an article about how to change limited beliefs here, yet I will take each one of the above ideas about money and help to put an empowering definition to it in the case of money.

  • “Money is the root to all that is evil.”

This is actually a quote that was misunderstood. The full quote went something to the effect of “The love of money is the root to evil.” In other words, when you LOVE money you will lose a since of who you really are and make money your number one priority above all else. If you have lack of money then of course this description is not you, so you do not have to worry about money affecting you this way especially if your number one priorities are the love of yourself and others.

  • “If I have abundance of money then others will lose out.”

Money beliefs of this nature derive from other limiting beliefs like there is not enough to go around or believing one person to have more power or less power to create reality then others, making out victim situations. Yet the universe is infinitely capable of supplying infinite results automatically. Looking at things from the perspective of this article it is difficult to suggest anyone is a victim since all things are equal and originate from the same infinite source. There are thousands of grants (that you do not have to pay back) being sent everyday. In addition, there are government agencies that are safeguarding unclaimed property funds totaling in excess of $24 Billion. There are infinite amount sources money can come from and the infinite universe knows about them all, so the wisest thing to do would be to have no condition on where money comes from within the universe. If everyone in the world decided to be abundant without definitions that are limiting them and without conditions on receiving that abundance then naturally by design everyone would be abundant. Nevertheless, some might think this is difficult to perceive because if everyone is abundant then nobody is abundant. However if everyone has no condition, where the abundance appears form then more then likely the system of money will fail and a new system will be set into place where everyone has plenty. Yet the system of money is in effect and there are no victims within the infinite universe so you might as well take full advantage of it.

  • “You must work hard in order to earn good money.”

This one has more then one definition in it and I will cover both. First, how you define “hard work” will determine the outcome. Most people define hard work as hard labor or something close to that affect. Yet hard work to me is anything that challenges me. Every time I write an article, it is hard work because I challenge myself to reach out and help millions of people with my words alone. Every time I am bowling, I challenge myself to notice my technique and improve it through each game. Anything can be hard work if you challenge yourself. Second, the definition “good money” in this statement is implying that there is such thing as good and bad when it comes to money. Money is neutral like the universe, the way you define money gives it meaning to you as an individual. If you are doing something to earn money that is not in alignment with who you really are then you might label the way you are earning that money as ‘bad’. Yet why would you do anything you label as ‘bad’ money? More then likely it is because you believe you must in order to gain money, which brings us to the final limiting belief definition of money…

  • “I cannot earn money doing what I love.”

Let us first look at the obvious within this statement. Where do you think the feeling of loving something comes from? I mean there must be a reason you have this desire, this feeling, this joy within you. I believe that every desire no matter how big or small it is must be achievable. Otherwise, you would not have the desire in the first place. It would be like having a hunger that you could not fulfill. That is something I see as impossible. Do you really believe the feeling of being hungry would be in the body if there were no food to fulfill that feeling? The observable answer is no the hunger would not be there if there were no food. Therefore, what makes anybody think the rest of the universe is set-up any other way?

Naturally Be Supported
As I said, our bodies are set-up in such a biochemical way that we automatically move away from pain and towards pleasure. All of life is about this purpose. If people put trust into the universe (reality or life) then they would follow their pleasure (joy, passion, or excitement) in every moment without conditions. If anybody were to take each moment and decide out of all the choices, which one is the most pleasure-able (joyful or excitable) then the universe will naturally support them. I explained in the last article how this worked for me and as long as I have been following my joy (passion, excitement, or pleasure) this has been the case without exception.

Examples of Abundant Living
There was this man, who was followed his joy in bringing out all kinds of emotion inside of people. His passion was to excite people, scare people, make people cry with great emotion of joy or any intense emotion that causes a rush of feeling in a person body. Through continuously following his joy moment to moment, he now has a career producing movies and makes abundant amounts of money for something he would love to do freely.

There was a woman who had a passionate joy in reading stories to her children. Within her day, this is the part that she looked forward to the most since it was her pleasure. She would read these stories with such passion, excitement and enthusiasm that her children invited their friends over to hear the stories. Those friends invited their friends and family to the point where through a series of events she had the opportunity to pursue a career of abundance in reading stories to people.

It does not matter what your passion is, if you follow it moment to moment, then it will lead you to all the support you can imagine having, without fail. Follow your joy as a statement of who you are as a person. Follow your pleasure with no exception of conditions to what will happen or how you want things to be processed and you will find what you need and so much more. In other words, if going on a walk in that moment is your highest joy out of all the choices you can choice from then go walking rather or not you think you should be spending more time on things that are more productive. You never know who you might meet, what you might be inspired to think or where you might end up. Your pleasure in the moment will lead you exactly where you need to be therefore do not put expectations on the opportunity within the moment. Just do what you enjoy no matter what the outcome or circumstance and the universe will put you exactly where you need to be.

Is It Your Highest Joy Or Something Else?
Now there might be a time when you think your highest joy in the moment is something that it is not. For example if out of all the choices, you feel your highest joy is to have intercourse with someone else’s wife or husband then you are misinterpreting the feeling of joy for a feeling of anxiety or fear. You are misreading the excitement for the definition (belief) you give things rather then pure completely happiness within the joy. The easiest way and a true test to know if you have found the path of your joy in the moment is if you do not care who knows or finds out about it. When you choose to ride a moment of joy and it is the highest joy out of every choice then it will be a choice that allows other the same opportunity. When others are not aware of all their choices to choose because of something you chose, then you take away the opportunity for them to choose their highest joy in each moment for them, which in turn lets you know that your choice is NOT the choice of highest joy. In other words, if nobody is harmed or has the potential of being harmed then you are on the right track.

Trusting the Universe through Surrendering
When you trust the universe and live within each moment and always choosing your highest joy, then all plans go out the window and you invite a spontaneous life into existence, which is the way life, was went to be lived. Now there is a way to have a spontaneous life and being responsible at the same time within the happy medium but the more you lean to spontaneous choices, the more natural your choices will be, and then you will be on key. What this means is to worry not about obligation, necessities, requirements or anything of the sort because if you trust the infinite universe then you will trust that these things will be taken care of by living your highest joy as we mentioned, why would you have a hunger that you could not feed? The universe by design takes care of us, the more alignment we are with our highest joy in each moment, the easier, and more rapidly, the universe can do its job. When you think you have to push, bend, mold, and oblige things in place with force then you are missing the greatest opportunity of life.

The ironic thing about this is that when you decide that it is ok if the worse possible result to come pass and you are comfortable with that thought then you allow and accept by letting go and surrendering to the universe. Once you can honestly make that choice then the worse possible result will not occur, not even close.

For example, before I decided to quit my job and start my website to live my passion in helping people, I asked myself, what is the worse possible outcome that could be? Which I determined was to lose everything I own, be a bum on the streets and die of starvation. I decided that was okay with me because if I am not living my passion then I am not living a life worth living. In addition, I found happiness within myself so no outside circumstance could rob me of my happiness. Yet I was aware that I could lose my inner happiness if I chose to, just as I chose to have it and I was even okay with that. Once I decided that any outcome is acceptable then the best outcome happened. My bills and debts are working themselves out, my money situation is looking up, and I have money in the bank. None of which occurred when I had a job. Would you consider this coincidence? When I had a job, all the money I earned would go to bills/ debts and if I did manage to earn more money, it would find itself spent on more bills. I had fun occasionally but never enough to say that having a job was worth my time. Can you relate? Now I live my passion and things look better then they ever did the whole eight years of having a job! This is a result of only two things, which are in sequence to each other.

1. Following my highest joy to the best of my ability.

2. Surrendering to the moment without obligation, necessities, and requirements by letting go and allowing the infinite universe control.

The amusing thing about this is that we all spend so much time trying to control our lives and having fear to be out-of-control. Yet the more we try to control a situation, the more unmanageable it gets. The reason is because everything is equal and when you try to control something, you are suggesting that you are above it or somehow not equal to it. If you are ever trying to move away from something, get past or rise above anything then you will be mistaken and the infinite universe will always remind you of that fact. If you want negative situations to discontinue then you must be okay with the fact that they will NEVER EVER STOP. Once you are okay with that obvious truth then there is no reason for the universe to remind you of it but the universe loves you enough to allow you the choice to be in remembrance that all is equal or to remember by letting go and surrendering. Which one do you choose?

Feel It, Believe It, Become It: Upcoming Global Prayer Events

It has been foretold that if enough people were to meditate/pray/focus energy at One moment in time it would be possible to reach a vibrational frequency high enough to cause world wide awakening. Well, this is the plan. This news it traveling REALLY REALLY FAST. Lets make it happen!

Many of you may have participated in the May 2007 Breakthrough Celebration, hosted by www.commonpassion.org. I tried to do my part in the process here in Israel by participating in the unforgettable Jerusalem Hug.

These important global events are continuing to take place as we head closer and closer to the New Earth. The following email I recieved explains more about these upcoming events:

The Breakthrough Celebration was a huge success thanks to you. The breakthrough to oneness continues all around the world, as the following announcements show:

1. This Saturday, July 14th at 11:00 am EST, 8 am PST, will be a
Teleconference introducing:

The Power and Grace of Prayer and Proxy

Sharing the Grace of Oneness

Dial in number: (712) 451-6000
Participant Access Code: 1074456#

Learn more about how Proxy Programs work, as well as chance to learn more about Pujas and the CommonPassion.org program coming up in September.

The call is free and you can join us by registering by simply sending an email stating your intention to Arthur Collins at BhagavanUSA@yahoo.com so we can track the number of signups.

The call will last about 90 minutes and include questions and answers, meditations and Lots of Oneness Deeksha!

2. A Fire the Grid global meditation-prayer is occurring on July 17th at
11:11 am GMT, 7:11 am EDT, 4:11 am PDT for one hour. The web site http://www.firethegrid.com explains the background. It is very wordy but here is what I was able to extract as a shared intention:

Intention - to heal our planet and awaken our souls to our true purpose…to become one with our Source of Light.

This seems to have caught quite the buzz recently on the internet so let’s join in. Any opportunity for adding coherence and sharing oneness is a Light-activity! My only advice is this: whatever we do/be in this one hour, let us ensure we do in all other hours, 24/7, 365. Ushering a new world of peace and enlightenment isn’t just a 60 minute event; it’s a lifelong process.

3. Dr Carl Calleman (www.calleman.com) is conducting a DayKeepers Workshop with Andi and Jag. Everything they do is thoroughly awesome. I highly recommend it:

4. There are two seats left as of this writing for the Sacred Journey to the Land of the Maya in Guatemala this coming November 9th through the 19th. This journey marks the entry into Fifth Night, according to the Mayan
Calendar and Dr Calleman. You can obtain details by going here:

http://www.intendbalance.com/maya2007/index.html

I will get back to producing regular global meditations in August. The
massive success of the Breakthrough Celebration and the launch of
www.CommonPassion.org has fully captivated by attention. Our next global event that we are planning will be in concert with “A Season of Interfaith Celebration” from September 11, 2007 to October 10th. CommonPassion and the Infinity Task Force will be in collaboration with Culture of Peace, Association of Global New Thought, World Peace Prayer Society, Oneness University, Friends of the UN, and the thousands of other groups around the world. We had about 500,000 people participate in the May Breakthrough event; we expect at least 5,000,000 in September. I’ll send more details as they develop.

Thank you all for helping us spread the new Vibe!

All my best,
Joseph R. Giove

AA Metatron: Beyond the Awakening of your World

Beyond the Awakening of your World

Beloved Ones, I greet you this day in eternal joy. I have not spoken to you for some time through this vehicle. We who serve you from the higher realms of Creation have been working hard, however, to co-create with you the shift in your collective consciousness which is now well underway. In this way, our thought-forms have spoken louder than our words, because words are easily misunderstood and misapplied through the filter of the linear mind and the emotions of fear. Through dedicated human co-creators, though, we are working to anchor Divine thought-forms in your collective consciousness which will counter the extreme separation which is occurring in your world now.

These are extreme times in your collective ascension process. The spiritual awakening is spreading across your planet as higher light continues to enter the Earth plane. As this process accelerates, humanity seems to be polarizing itself, faction against faction. What is actually happening is that much of humanity is clutching desperately, in fear, to the duality which has provided the human paradigms of existence since the Fall. In the presence of the higher light, fear, and its mechanisms of secrecy, power and control are illuminated, in much the same manner as a colony of insects underneath an overturned rock. In the light of day, the insects will scramble to get their bearings once again, and to burrow deeper, away from the light.

Some time ago, I shared a message with you through this vehicle about the hidden thoughts, words and deeds of humanity being revealed now. As you can see, that message is being fulfilled. Daily, in your news headlines, you will read about some deceitful or criminal act by a trusted member of your society being exposed. The secret workings and agendas of your governments are also being exposed to full public view. You may find that the basic human rights that you thought you possessed as humans seem to be slipping away. Some of you may feel very alarmed and quite powerless, knowing that you have been deceived by those you trusted in almost all of your valued institutions. You may feel very fearful about the rattling of sabers which is taking place among the warrior nations and groups of Earth. The sabers now take the form of technological and biological weapons with the potential of massive destruction.

Now is not the time, my Beloved Ones who serve the Light, to fall back into the grip of collective fear which has held humanity in the lower light of separation from its Divinity for so long. Now, more than at any previous time, it serves you to bypass the confusions of the linear mind and seek the strength that lies in your heart. You are your own redemption, and that of collective humanity. You, as humans living in the Earth plane, have called forth your redemption and you are co-creating it in your every now moment with your thoughts, words and deeds. It will serve you no longer to continue perpetuating the same human behaviors that created the kind of world you live in now. The events that are frightening you are an essential part of the redemption and return to higher light that is now occurring. More »

39 Ways to Live (And Not Merely Exist)

July 3rd, 2007 | 1 Comment | Posted in Law Of Attraction, Spreading The Love

Too often we go through life on autopilot, going through the motions and having each day pass like the one before it.

That’s fine, and comfortable, until you have gone through another year without having done anything, without having really lived life.

That’s fine, until you have reached old age and look back on life with regrets.

That’s fine, until you see your kids go off to college and realize that you missed their childhoods.

It’s not fine. If you want to truly live life, to really experience it, to enjoy it to the fullest, instead of barely scraping by and only living a life of existence, then you need to find ways to break free from the mold and drink from life.

What follows is just a list of ideas, obvious ones mostly that you could have thought of yourself, but that I hope are useful reminders. We all need reminders sometimes. If you find this useful, print it out, and start using it. Today.

  1. Love. Perhaps the most important. Fall in love, if you aren’t already. If you have, fall in love with your partner all over again. Abandon caution and let your heart be broken. Or love family members, friends, anyone — it doesn’t have to be romantic love. Love all of humanity, one person at a time.
  2. Get outside. Don’t let yourself be shut indoors. Go out when it’s raining. Walk on the beach. Hike through the woods. Swim in a freezing lake. Bask in the sun. Play sports, or walk barefoot through grass. Pay close attention to nature.
  3. Savor food. Don’t just eat your food, but really enjoy it. Feel the texture, the bursts of flavors. Savor every bite. If you limit your intake of sweets, it will make the small treats you give yourself (berries or dark chocolate are my favorites) even more enjoyable. And when you do have them, really, really savor them. Slowly.
  4. Create a morning ritual. Wake early and greet the day. Watch the sun rise. Out loud, tell yourself that you will not waste this day, which is a gift. You will be compassionate to your fellow human beings, and live every moment to its fullest. Stretch or meditate or exercise as part of your ritual. Enjoy some coffee.
  5. Take chances. We often live our lives too cautiously, worried about what might go wrong. Be bold, risk it all. Quit your job and go to business for yourself (plan it out first!), or go up to that girl you’ve liked for a long time and ask her out. What do you have to lose?
  6. Follow excitement. Try to find the things in life that excite you, and then go after them. Make life one exciting adventure after another (with perhaps some quiet times in between).
  7. Find your passion. Similar to the above tip, this one asks you to find your calling. Make your living by doing the thing you love to do. First, think about what you really love to do. There may be many things. Find out how you can make a living doing it. It may be difficult, but you only live once.
  8. Get out of your cubicle. Do you sit all day in front of computer, shuffling papers and taking phone calls and chatting on the Internet? Don’t waste your days like this. Break free from the cubicle environment, and do your work on a laptop, in a coffee shop, or on a boat, or in a log cabin. This may require a change of jobs, or becoming a freelancer. It’s worth it.
  9. Turn off the TV. How many hours will we waste away in front of the boob tube? How many hours do we have to live? Do the math, then unplug the TV. Only plug it back in when you have a DVD of a movie you love. Otherwise, keep it off and find other stuff to do. Don’t know what to do? Read further.
  10. Pull away from Internet. You’re reading something on the Internet right now. And, with the exception of this article, it is just more wasting away of your precious time. You cannot get these minutes back. Unplug the Internet, then get out of your office or house. Right now! And go and do something.
  11. Travel. Sure, you want to travel some day. When you have vacation time, or when you’re older. Well, what are you waiting for? Find a way to take a trip, if not this month, then sometime soon. You may need to sell your car or stop your cable bill and stop eating out to do it, but make it happen. You are too young to not see the world. If need be, find a way to make a living by freelancing, then work while you travel. Only work an hour or two a day. Don’t check email but once a week. Then use the rest of the time to see the world.
  12. Rediscover what’s important. Take an hour and make a list of everything that’s important to you. Add to it everything that you want to do in life. Now cut that list down to 4-5 things. Just the most important things in your life. This is your core list. This is what matters. Focus your life on these things. Make time for them.
  13. Eliminate everything else. What’s going on in your life that’s not on that short list? All that stuff is wasting your time, pulling your attention from what’s important. As much as possible, simplify your life by eliminating the stuff that’s not on your short list, or minimizing it.
  14. Exercise. Get off the couch and go for a walk. Eventually try running. Or do some push ups and crunches. Or swim or bike or row. Or go for a hike. Whatever you do, get active, and you’ll love it. And life will be more alive.
  15. Be positive. Learn to recognize the negative thoughts you have. These are the self-doubts, the criticisms of others, the complaints, the reasons you can’t do something. Then stop yourself when you have these thoughts, and replace them with positive thoughts. Solutions. You can do this!
  16. Open your heart. Is your heart a closed bundle of scar tissue? Learn to open it, have it ready to receive love, to give love unconditionally. If you have a problem with this, talk to someone about it. And practice makes perfect.
  17. Kiss in the rain. Seize the moment and be romantic. Raining outside? Grab your lover and give her a passionate kiss. Driving home? Stop the car and pick some wildflowers. Send her a love note. Dress sexy for him.
  18. Face your fears. What are you most afraid of? What is holding you back? Whatever it is, recognize it, and face it. Do what you are most afraid of. Afraid of heights? Go to the tallest building, and look down over the edge. Only by facing our fears can we be free of them.
  19. When you suffer, suffer. Life isn’t all about fun and games. Suffering is an inevitable part of life. We lose our jobs. We lose our lovers. We lose our pets. We get physically injured or sick. A loved one becomes sick. A parent dies. Learn to feel the pain intensely, and really grieve. This is a part of life — really feel the pain. And when you’re done, move on, and find joy.
  20. Slow down. Life moves along at such a rapid pace these days. It’s not healthy, and it’s not conducive to living. Practice doing everything slowly — everything, from eating to walking to driving to working to reading. Enjoy what you do. Learn to move at a snail’s pace.
  21. Touch humanity. Get out of your house and manicured neighborhoods, and find those who live in worse conditions. Meet them, talk to them, understand them. Live among them. Be one of them. Give up your materialistic lifestyle.
