Jerusalem Hug Second Time Around: June 24, 2008

When I wrote about last year’s Jerusalem Hug and posted a video about about it, little did I expect the Hug organizers to approach me about making a video promo for tomorrow’s upcoming Hug.

What an honor!

It was such an amazing experience last year that I was excited about having an opportunity to spread the word out to more people. I even volunteered to open a MySpace page for the Hug… (Add us as a friend!!)

So, yes, this amazing event will take place tomorrow, June 24, in Jerusalem. Join thousands of Jews, Muslems, Christians.. (wait, f*ck labels).. PEOPLE.. as we hold hands around the Old City.

It is an event you will never forget, that I can guarantee.

60 Years Since Gandhi’s Death and Where Are We Today?

January 30th marks the 60th anniversary of the assassination of one the most influential heroes in human history.

One of Gandhi’s most famous quotes is “be the change you want to see in the world”.

Because Ghandi knew that the only way to make a true difference in this world is first by changing yourself. He understood that every thought we have and every action we take instantly affects others; whether its the people closest to us or a random person on the other side of the planet (aka the Butterfly Effect). He knew and understood that we are part of ONE collective consciousness.

So as the 60 year anniversary of this great man stands before us, let us think about this list of people we are influencing. Is our life showing them the change we want to see in the world? Will their lives reflect the lessons they learned from watching us?

If not, that is ok. Because it’s not too late.

You and I can start today. Right now. This second.

And may peace, love and compassion prevail on planet Earth.

“Children of AIDS” Born with New DNA?

It’s happening: the evolution of our consciousness, our reality… the evolution of ourselves.

Most of you may have heard of Indigo Children… but did you know there are two more types that are being born?

It is official; the mind, the heart, and the body are evolving.

Diane: So Drunvalo…who are these “Children of the New Dream” that you are so excited about?

Drunvalo: Well there are 3 different kinds of children emerging in the world today that I have been able to identify. The first are called the “Super Psychic Children of China”. The second are called the “Indigo Children” and the third are called the “Children of AIDS”.

The first one, the “Super Psychics of China”, we talked about in the Flower of Life seminars. If you remember, the first one was discovered in 1984 when a child was found who was psychic beyond belief. Researchers conducted every psychic test you could imagine and he was 100% correct every time. You could turn cards over in another room and that didn’t matter. He could perfectly know what was on the card.

So Omni magazine went to China and wrote an article on this discovery. They found one child and then another. When they went in 1984 they assumed it was a hoax so they did experiments like putting 100 kids in a room and taking a book and randomly pulling out a page. They would crumple it up and stick it under their arm. These kids could read every word on the page. They did test after test, and the response was flawless. The phenomena didn’t stop there. These kids are not just in China. They have spread all over the world. I personally have been talking to parents who ask me, “…what do we do.. I have a kid who knows everything?” I believe Lee Carroll is calling the children being born here in the U.S. “the Indigo Children”. I personally think the two groups are coming from the same source, however, I don’t know that for sure. There appears to be two separate groups, incredibly psychic and amazing.

It is the third group that I am most interested in - the Children of AIDS. About 10 or 11 years ago in the US, there was a baby born with AIDS. They tested him at birth and at 6 months and he tested positive for AIDS. They tested him a year later and he still tested positive. Then they didn’t test him again until he was 6, and what was amazing is that this test showed that he was completely AIDS free! In fact, there was no trace that he ever had AIDS or HIV whatsoever! Yoko Ono Lennon: Think Peace, Act Peace, Spread Peace (Video)

I miss you, John. 27 years later, I still wish I could turn back the clock to the Summer of 1980. I remember everything - sharing our morning coffee, walking in the park together on a beautiful day, and seeing your hand stretched to mine - holding it, reassuring me that I shouldn’t worry about anything because our life was good.

I had no idea that life was about to teach me the toughest lesson of all. I learned the intense pain of losing a loved one suddenly, without warning, and without having the time for a final hug and the chance to say, “I love you,” for the last time. The pain and shock of that sudden loss is with me every moment of every day. When I touched John’s side of our bed on the night of December 8th, 1980, I realized that it was still warm. That moment has haunted me for the past 27 years - and will stay with me forever.

Even harder for me is watching what was taken away from our beautiful boy, Sean.
He lives in silent anger over not having his Dad, whom he loved so much, around to share his life with. I know we are not alone. Our pain is one shared by many other families who are suffering as the victims of senseless violence. This pain has to stop.

Let’s not waste the lives of those we have lost. Let’s, together, make the world a place of love and joy and not a place of fear and anger. This day of John’s passing has become more and more important for so many people around the world as the day to remember his message of Peace and Love and to do what each of us can to work on healing this planet we cherish.

Let’s: Think Peace, Act Peace, and Spread Peace. John worked for it all his life.
He said, “there’s no problem, only solutions.” Remember, we are all together.
We can do it, we must. I love you!

Living In My Own World… Or AM I?

Yesterday I received the following email from a new reader (welcome Gina!) and felt inspired to answer it here in case others out there have similar questions… Here goes:

Someone at work keeps telling me I’m living in my own world (?) I don’t get it, so i searched online and up came your site!  You have a beautiful soul.  Can you tell me what it means to live in our own world? is it good? 
 
Also, about “the only message you’ll ever need“. That is so cool. How do you tell someone or give that message to people?

First of all, Gina, thanks for the kind words and thanks for reading!

For me, it’s like this:

In the beginning (of time) I would get frustrated because I felt like I didn’t fit in or that people didn’t understand me… As I wrote in my little introduction text on the sidebar, I always did what I felt was right (a typical Indigo) and yet somehow my thoughts, opinions and dreams of a better world, just didnt seem to please society around me… I was pretty young when I realized that I was alone in this; that me and the ‘real world’ were just not on the same page… and I have to admit: it was tough.

Then, as the years went by, and I grew to know myself more, I slowly came to the conclusion that I liked myself for who I was and that I was sick and tired of trying to adjust myself to fit “inside the box.” I became proud of the fact that I was different and that my views on life were different. Because if following my heart meant that I was living in my own world, well then gosh darn it: SO BE IT!

That was then. 

What is happening now, however, (and this took me a while to comprehend) is that in the past 10 years or so, especially due to the age of Internet, I have been gradually awakening to the fact that maybe I’m not so alone in this after all!  So many people out there seem to be craving the same things as I, fighting for what they believe in, being the change that they want to see in the world and educating and inspiring others about it (through personal weblogs, sites like Zaadz, etc…).  So many more than I ever thought possible… I mean, you people are EVERYWHERE! 

And thanks to all of you, I realize now that I am not alone. None of us are alone, because we are all in this together…

Sorry, I didn’t mean to get all sentimental on you (ok, well maybe I did…)  So anyway, back to your other question:

…about “the only message you’ll ever need“. That is so cool. How do you tell someone or give that message to people? 

Well first of all, I’m so glad you asked this, because it shows that you care. It shows that you have what it takes to make a difference in this world.  So how do you tell others that you see them as they really are? How do you spread that love, that healing?

It’s simple:

By first seeing yourself for Who You Really Are. Even when others do not. Especially when others do not.  Because to see this in yourself is to change the world.

The Books That Crossed My Path in India

One of the things that played an important role on my recent trip to India (besides the amazing people I met there - but that’s a whole other post…) were the amazing books that seemed to ‘cross my path’ at just the right moment.

Whether running across them at local bookshops or recieving them for free from random travelers I met along the way… all 6 books seemed to have come into my life just as I needed to hear them most. The sychronicity of how it unfolded was incredible…

I found myself reading 4 or 5 books at a time (most of them I am still reading back home..) quickly jumping from one book to another in sort of a spiral form. It’s almost as if I came across enough information in one book to quickly prepare me for the next chapter in the next book, and then so on and so forth with the rest of them… By the time I went back to continue the first one, I was reading it from a whole new state of awareness, making it that much more clear to me as I read…

I couldn’t have planned it better if I tried.

So anyway, I strongly recommend any of the following books from my own personal experience. However, only you can know if and when the time is right for you. (Click the images to learn more about each one…)

A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose: While buying this book at a Rishikesh bookshop, the owner told me how Eckhart Tolle had visited his shop a few years back and what an amazingly humble man he was. “There was just something about him that is hard to explain,” he said.

Who Cares?! The Unique Teaching of Ramesh S. Balsekar: I stumbled upon this book at a local coffeeshop just as my mind was about to explode from all this new information. Instantly I understood that mentally analyzing everything to death (till death) was just not gonna cut it anymore…

Intimacy: Trusting Oneself and the Other: One of the most open and honest strangers I met on this trip suddenly offered me a copy of this book just when I needed to hear it most.

Siddhartha: A beautiful soul we met on the trip recommended this book to us, saying that she always keeps it with her inside her bag. This beautifully written novel seemed to combine all the insights that I have been stumbling upon lately into one intriguing story…

The Tenth Insight: Holding the Vision: On my last day in India, one of my neighbors dropped by my room to ask me if I wanted this book. Approximately 5 years after finishing Celestine Prophecy, I guess I was finally ready…

Tomorrow’s God: Our Greatest Spiritual Challenge: This book literally jumped out at me at another small bookshop in the area, just as I was questioning what my role was in the whole transformation taking place in the world. Strangely, one of the first words I noticed in the book read:

Do you think this is happening by chance?

This is not. There is no such thing as “chance. The universe does nothing by accident. This book has come to you to tell you that you can change the course of human history.

You.

Not only the people who run governments or own corporations or lead movements or write books or are influential for some other reason. Not only those people.

You.

You can change the course of human history.

This is not an exaggeration. Please believe me. This is not an exaggeration.

Who Cares?!

A story of a spiritual Zen Master and his disciple: 

Every month the disciple faithfully sent his Master an account of his spiritual progress.

In the first month he wrote, “I feel an expansion of consciousness and experience my oneness with the universe.” The Master glanced at the note and threw it away.

The following month, this is what he had to say: “I have finally discovered that the Divine is present in all things.” The Master seemed disappointed.

The third month the disciple’s words enthusiastically exclaimed, “The mystery of the One and the Many has been revealed to my wondering gaze.” The Master shook his head and again threw the letter away.

The next letter said: “No one is born, no one lives, and no one dies, for the ego-self is not.” The Master threw his hands up in utter despair.

After that a month passed by, then two, then five months — and finally a whole year without another letter. The Master thought it was time to remind his disciple of his duty to keep him informed of his spiritual progress.

Then the disciple wrote back: “Who cares?”

When the Master read those words, a look of great satisfaction spread over his face.

There is a River Flowing Very Fast - 2012

I came across the following quote on one of Ian Xel Lungold’s many fascinating lectures on the Mayan Calender, before he passed away. These amazing words were originally spoken by the Hopi elders:

“There is a river flowing very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore, they will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly.

Know that this river has its destination.

The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water. And I say, see who is there with you and celebrate!

The Harmonic Shift Occurring on July 7th, 2007

Tomorrow will be July 7th, 2007; meaning the seventh day, of the seventh month, of the year 2007. It also ‘just so happens’ to fall on a Saturday which is the seventh day of the week. Coincidence? I think not.

The number 7 has always had significance in practically every field of life (you can see a quick rundown on the number 7 at Wikipedia), but I cant help but feel that the significance of this upcoming date is even greater than we can comprehend. It might not necessarily be noticed right away, but I have a feeling this day will be a very important day in the development of the human conciousness.

Beloved Ones, I greet you this day in eternal joy. I have not spoken to you for some time through this vehicle. We who serve you from the higher realms of Creation have been working hard, however, to co-create with you the shift in your collective consciousness which is now well underway. In this way, our thought-forms have spoken louder than our words, because words are easily misunderstood and misapplied through the filter of the linear mind and the emotions of fear. Through dedicated human co-creators, though, we are working to anchor Divine thought-forms in your collective consciousness which will counter the extreme separation which is occurring in your world now.

These are extreme times in your collective ascension process. The spiritual awakening is spreading across your planet as higher light continues to enter the Earth plane. As this process accelerates, humanity seems to be polarizing itself, faction against faction. What is actually happening is that much of humanity is clutching desperately, in fear, to the duality which has provided the human paradigms of existence since the Fall. In the presence of the higher light, fear, and its mechanisms of secrecy, power and control are illuminated, in much the same manner as a colony of insects underneath an overturned rock. In the light of day, the insects will scramble to get their bearings once again, and to burrow deeper, away from the light.

Some time ago, I shared a message with you through this vehicle about the hidden thoughts, words and deeds of humanity being revealed now. As you can see, that message is being fulfilled. Daily, in your news headlines, you will read about some deceitful or criminal act by a trusted member of your society being exposed. The secret workings and agendas of your governments are also being exposed to full public view. You may find that the basic human rights that you thought you possessed as humans seem to be slipping away. Some of you may feel very alarmed and quite powerless, knowing that you have been deceived by those you trusted in almost all of your valued institutions. You may feel very fearful about the rattling of sabers which is taking place among the warrior nations and groups of Earth. Google Analytics Predicts Where Human Consciousness is Going

The Google Analytics statistics for this blog have been playing a really interesting role in my recent ‘enlightenment’ process.

As most know, the popular Google tool has a feature that shows you what information (or keywords) readers around the world were searching for when they happened to run across your website in the search engine results.

So because this blog has been focusing more and more on spirituality lately (as my own understandings unfold), it is starting to draw in readers who are searching for similar information. Of course, it doesnt always mean the information they are seeking is answered by my website (the most obvious example for that would be the large number of people who accidently end up on my site because they were looking for the lyrics to a song called “Living in My Own World”).

But what it DOES do is give me a close, personal, inside look at ‘topics of interest’ that people like myself have been researching lately on the web.

And I can tell you this: the different keywords that have been showing up on my statistics lately really start to paint a clear picture that something.. SOMETHING is happening to our collective consciousness - much of which I myself have yet to understand.

Here are some examples of real keywords that people have been looking for:

Crystal and Indigo Children and Adults:

More and more people lately have been searching for information about Crystal and Indigo children and adults. Some search terms I noticed include becoming a crystal child, spirit realms indigo, “crystal children” fear and crystal adults manifesting thoughts. (If you still don’t know what Crystal and Indigo children are, read this and this.)

Dimensions:

Wow, so just when you thought you are starting to get the whole crystal thing down, you start to see people searching for information such as crystal links living in fourth dimension.

Fourth dimension, you ask? Yes, the word ‘dimension’ has been very popular amongst you Google soul-searchers; your searches have included phrases such as ascension to 5th dimension 2007, living in 5th dimension energy, adjusting to 6th dimensional consciousness, gates to other dimensions and my personal favorite, the one that intrigued me most: spiritual fifth dimension new world order - june 2007 (Pardon my ignorance, but is something supposed to be happening this month???)

Chakras:

You’ve all probably heard of chakras by now, but the questions that people have been asking have been putting the term ‘chakras’ in a whole new light for me. First of all, a very common phrase appearing in searches has been sure signs that your chakras are activated… Ok, are my chakras supposed to be ‘activated’? Because I never really thought about it and yet people out there are looking for ’sure signs’…

One person searched for the phrase slowing time down chakras metaphysical (slowing down time?) while another odd phrase I noticed read energy chakras electrical problems blowing light (apparently somebody’s chakras seem to be causing electrical problems…)

Angels:

Do angels really exist? Ask your fellow surfers; The have been searching for information about the following: living human angels, archangel ariel channeling 21 june 2007 and one man’s plea: earth angels spread your light frequencies to the world.

Personal Spiritual Growth:

Wake up: you are not the only one “waking up”. Questioning your spiritual growth is actually perfectly “normal” these days. General common search terms made by people like yourself have included signs of intuitive awareness, becoming aware of my own consciousness, signs of spirit contact, signs of spiritual changing and one surfer’s bottom-line-lets-get-down-to-it question: is there a spiritual awakening happening in the world today.
