India, HERE I COME

September 4th, 2007 | 1 Comment | Posted in Random Thoughts

In a few hours from now, I will be on the plane heading to the beautiful country of India with my husband, the love of my life.

Words cannot express what is going on in my body as I write this, but I guess you can say its a healthy mix of excitement and fear of the unknown. (We will be traveling there for about 2 months and yet, we didnt really plan anything and I have absolutely no idea what to expect…)

Im not sure if I’ll have a chance to update this blog, but I sure as heck will try.

To my family: DON’T WORRY, I love you and we will be in touch.

To any readers out there who have been following my blog, I look forward to sharing with you this magical twist in my spiritual journey…

NAMASTE!

There is a River Flowing Very Fast - 2012

I came across the following quote on one of Ian Xel Lungold’s many fascinating lectures on the Mayan Calender, before he passed away. These amazing words were originally spoken by the Hopi elders:

“There is a river flowing very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore, they will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly.

Know that this river has its destination.

The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water. And I say, see who is there with you and celebrate!

At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all, ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual journey and growth come to a halt.

The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word struggle from your attitude and vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.

We are the ones we have been waiting for.”

I am adding another lecture of Ian’s which I think helps to understand the basics of the Mayan Calender, as it relates to the Evolution of Consciousness. He also clearly points out how the Schedule of Creation can be tracked when one looks at past historical events and relates that information to what to expect in the near future leading up to the year 2012. (Yes, we’re getting pretty close, but the river is ALREADY flowing…)
